I am a designer and corporate marketing professional with 20 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, and architecture for leading global companies and brands.
After working in corporate marketing and design in New York, Los Angeles, and San Diego, I moved to Austin and founded Kim Packer Design, LLC.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate and partner with incredible clients representing industries like technology, hospitality, architecture, and health and wellness, to whom I bring the perspectives of a designer, marketer, storyteller, and project manager.
As a mom of two amazing and inspirational little boys, I enjoy free time playing with my family and exploring the beautiful natural playground and culinary wonderland that is Austin.

I have a passion for bringing clarity and function to all things and believe a strategic design approach is key for any creative challenge. Design should be both beautiful and well-informed, and ultimately communicate the right story to the right audience.
Telling a good story takes work—from gathering the right information, to organizing that information into a story, and finally to transforming that story into an impactful visual product. I cultivated this skill set through years of working among world-class creatives, crafting winning client presentations and custom marketing collateral across many industries.
Gaining an understanding of each client’s company, industry, brand, marketing assets, and overall design goals is vital for creating lasting relationships and successful design solutions. It allows me to function as an integrated team member. My clients find many benefits in this approach and enjoy having a contractor who understands their business and performs with an understanding similar to that of their in-house professionals.
